The annually held Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 schedule is announced, the international event is set for the Sunday, May 30. Mumbai Marathon is Asia’s largest marathon event and more than 50,000 participants participate. It usually takes place in January but was postponed to May due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon is sponsored by the Tata Sons and Tata Consultancy Services, thus the marathon is called as Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM). The event is directed by London marathon winner and the secretary of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, Hugh Jones. The event features total prize money of $ 405,000.

The organizers are looking to conduct the event with limited participants in the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 Km runs. For the first time, participants from across India and the world can also run from their preferred location using the official TMM 2024 App
The promoters of Mumbai Marathon confirmed that the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2024 is all set to take place on 30th May 2024.

Where TMM 2024 will take place?
The marathon annually starts from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai and go through Mumbai city’s popular locations such as Mahalakshmi Temple, Flora Fountain, Marine Drive, Haji Ali, Mahim Church and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
But due to Covid-19 pandemic, this year the Procam International, promoters of Tata Mumbai Marathon have not decided the location and are in talks with the state and civic authorities to hold the event in the city.
There is no confirmation yet from the promoters of Asia’s most prestigious marathon about the specific location for the event.
Mumbai Marathon 2024 Registration Date & Fees
The registrations for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 are expected to start in a couple of weeks. Particpants can register for three categories – the full marathon (42.195km), the half marathon (21.097km) and the open 10K run (10km).
The participants for the TMM 2024 will be selected based on the fastest timing certificate in their respective age and gender categories.
