The playoffs at the Valorant Champions 2024 were incredible, probably the best Valorant matches we have ever seen! DRX started strong and quickly crushed FunPlus Phoenix 2-0. LOUD, OpTic Gaming, and XSET all progressed to the next round.

In the upper bracket semi-finals, DRX and LOUD had an absolute battle. We thought DRX would prove too strong for LOUD, but the Brazilians proved us wrong. LOUD ended up winning 2-0. After seeing their amazing performance, we were confident they would make it to the grand final.

The only real threat to LOUD was OpTic Gaming. They had a close back-and-forth match with XSET but managed to win 2-1. This set up an amazing upper bracket final between OpTic Gaming and LOUD.

LOUD were incredibly strong, and it didn’t take them long to crush OpTic Gaming. It seemed like they could do nothing wrong as they destroyed OpTic Gaming over and over again. After their defeat, OpTic Gaming took on DRX in the lower bracket final and just managed to beat them in an amazing display of Valorant skills.

The grand final took place between LOUD and OpTic Gaming, a rematch of the upper bracket final. OpTic Gaming did show signs of improvement, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. LOUD ended up winning 3-1, which has put Brazilian esports on the map.
