The IPL Governing Council also introduced a couple of new rules to the IPL 2022 such as concussion substitute and third umpire no-ball. This is the first season where both the rules will be applied in the league.

This new rules will definitely help the IPL to have more fair matches as now third umpire will give a call to no-ball instead of the on-field umpires.
